Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his roles in famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Since his college days Meloni became interested in the field of acting. Then he studied at The University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in TV and film but his performances on the smaller screen are what brought him much recognition. He has been able to seamlessly play the roles of characters from both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' focus. His initial project was a television show, and later, he played an officer for the NYPD. Multiple times he was nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. His signature striking blue eyes that have been said to make the actor look gorgeous. They've assisted in convey the rough characters in an enthralling manner. The actor was featured on People's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
